The Oracle StorageTeck SL24 Tape Library provides high capacity backup and recovery in a compact and highly manageable automated solution. It is a cost effective entry level storage solution that is the type of very reliable and high quality solution that you would expect from Oracle. It is rack mountable for a standard 19 inch rack and can support up to 36 TB so it saves valuable rack space. Its modular design and removable drive magazines make it easy for you to load and unload data tapes. The StorageTek SL24 has the functionality to add or swap drives which allows you to adapt to your growing data protection requirements.

The Oracle StorageTek SL24 Tape Library supports full height and half height tape drives to ensure investment protection for changing performance and capacity needs and the variety of interface options allow for extremely flexible integration into your existing storage environment. Oracle extensively tests the SL24 Tape Library to ensure that it works with the most variety of servers, operating systems, and ISV packages. It can be remotely managed so the need for a full time onsite administrator is not needed. A remote administrator can control, configure, monitor, and troubleshoot the StorageTek SL24 Tape Library.
