What a design flaw in Unisphere! EMC never saw this coming.

As you probably know since you are here, Adobe has disabled the use of the web extension, Adobe Flash, due to security vulnerabilities. Flash was a key component EMC built off of to access Unisphere. With Flash disabled, there are a ton of customer left stranded with no access to the operating system of their storage system.

Even as of today, EMC has not published an official solution for this problem, except to say, “well, you should have bought a Unity.”

While this isn’t a perfect solution, this work-around has been working fine for a number of our support clients. Note that it only works on Chrome and Firefox browsers.
