The Hitachi Thunder 9580V Disk Array is an entry level data solution that can handle 64 Terabytes of raw data capacity, 7.4 Gigabytes per second of cached bandwidth, 1,024 virtual storage ports each with secure multi-tenancy, and 2,048 LUNs. It has a small footprint that enables you to get more capacity in a smaller area. The Hitachi Thunder 9580V Disk Array is a modular system that can scale storage capacity and performance with your growing data storage needs to meet the most demanding environments. The proprietary Hitachi QuickShadow™ copy-on-write snapshot software reduces storage requirements for data protection. The HiCopy™ cross-system replication allows easy data migration between Thunder 9500 V Series and Lightning 9900 V Series storage systems to minimize transitional downtime.
