The Hitachi Lightning 9970 Disk Array has redundant, hot-swappable active components and a mirrored cache for always-on data access and non-disruptive maintenance. It also provides around the clock data protection the ensure your mission critical data is available all the time. The Hitachi Lightning 9970 Disk Array has point-in-time copies for disaster recovery, tape-less vaulting, data warehousing/data mining, or application testing, and allows scalable backup/restore functions.
